You can use the Contact Map to figure out where to explore (Available in [Actions]->[Contact Map]). The more contacts in white areas you get, the higher your multiplier.

The developers couldn't be bothered to tell you this, but the new update from 5/26/2011 is REQUIRED to load any new puzzle, starting with 424.

There are over 60 constraints in this puzzle, which make it just about unplayable on my PC. There is no fluid movement when dragging, shake is so slow that it is barely discernable and the protein will not move when expected.

Is it just me or does anyone else have these problems ?

Additionally, is it not defeating the purpose of an exploration puzzle to constrain it so that it cannot be explored ? Because of the constraints, the contact map is virtualy redundant - has anyone doen a study on the sections of the contact map which are showing as white but actually are unobtainable due to the puzzle's constraints ? My guess is that if the constrained sections of the puzzle were coloured grey on this map, then there would only be a very small section of white left.

Contained segments should be marked someway, to not touch them much. Also too many constrains…
I knows that is to prevent another carpet bombing of high scoring carpets but…. almost unplayable :(

list of segments that have constrains? I can write simple script that selects/freezes them to make manipulation easier.
