At the time of this feedback, the "players" page, http://fold.it/portal/players, which normally shows top evolvers, is empty.

At the right-hand links on this page, such as "soloist hall of fame", http://fold.it/portal/players/s_ever, are also empty.

Individual player profiles seem to be correct, however.

I mentioned this earlier on Discord, and jflat06 says it's a side effect of some changes that were made to cope with all the new coronavirus players.

The "sidebar" area of the front page used to have a small scoreboard, and apparently that contributed to the slowdown/crash after the Reddit post. (I guess it "didn't scale well".)

The sidebar now has just "topics" and "top new users", no scoreboards.

Unfortunately, disabling the sidebar scoreboard feature also disabled the main scoreboards.

So we're going to have to live with this for a little bit, since the Foldit team is pretty busy at the moment. Let's hope there's a way we can lose the sidebar feature, which was never useful, and get the main scoreboards back. Otherwise, there's the new web site, but that doesn't have a release date yet.

The player rankings are working again, closing this one.
