To save space for other things, I propose that the achievement list be shortened. For example, if you are a "master soloist" there is no need to show that you were once a "junior soloist". Likewise with "baby steps" etc.
I understand what you are requesting, and yes, it would save space, etc.
But - as a website designer - what you are asking is much more complex to code. As currently coded, each Achievement accesses a database. To drop the earlier Achievements would mean additional code to "hide" them (and collapse the table rows) as the next is reached, so the code would need to be added for the "hiding" and the computations for that.
There are so many other things here on the website, the game, and irc (chat) that could use improvement - and dev time and coding effort!
This seems like a good idea, provided the "show details" screen continues to show all achievements. I like to compare my proportion of top 10 : top 20 : top 30 from time to time.
