All my clients are not updating on the site. They all tell that the connection is still there.
Stopping the client hangs the client.
Only after a restart the points gained are visible on the site.
Advice to everyone: check your score on the site and if lower restart the game.

I have the same problem for most of my WiFi connections. I can save locally, but when I try to make any connection (sharing, hiding notifications, loading a recipe), the client hangs.
Every several hours, if I want to be credited on the site, I have to open another client and recover my local saves. It's quite a burden.

I have had a similar bug where a Foldit client's scores are out of sync with other clients and the same client hangs when I try to update, upload, download, or delete shared solutions. I think this bug happens more often on smaller Foldit puzzles. My hunch is that it has to do with the upload_tmp_UNIQ* files that appear and then quickly disappear every few minutes. Seems like whenever I have to restart a Foldit client because of this bug, I see a recent undeleted upload_tmp_UNIQ* file in the client's directory.

Are the upload_tmp_UNIQ* files what Foldit uses to send intermediate models back to the Foldit site? My guess is that if too many of these files are sent at once, it confuses Foldit either locally or at the server end and causes the bug. I wonder if the clients always fail in pairs. Would it be helpful for people to send times and dates for recent upload_tmp_UNIQ* files from their failed Foldit clients?

I saw this bug multiple times in puzzles 984 (49 amino acids) and 990 (71 amino acids) but so far not in puzzle 994 (150 amino acids).

Old upload_tmp_UNIQ-*.ir_solution files can show up in the Open/Share Solutions Menu along with Auto and Quicksaves. Each upload_tmp_UNIQ* file gets listed there as a "Status Solution" along with the date and time it was made.

I have noticed that logging in to the game server is getting slower again, I haven't tested to see if this is local ISP, WAN or international network issues or just a slower response than expected from the game server. I use an ethernet connection not wireless on the device I use to fold.
