In Staph Aureus ED puzzle, shared solution "Wiggle Crash" with scientists. Shared recipe "Blue Fuse for Newchapter" with myself. Each time I run this recipe against this save, foldit crashes during one of the many do_global_wiggle_all calls. The log file always ends the same way - two samples attached.

Running Win 7 64, latest release of newchapter.

Hey Susume, thanks for the feedback. The blue fuze recipes I have are not reproducing the crash. If it's possible could you share the recipe to public?

Recipe shared: http://fold.it/portal/recipe/47770

There's nothing special about it except that it calls wiggle many times in succession as it waits for the score to settle. The version I had that looped fewer times did not cause the crash, so maybe it's a matter of volume.

I have a recipe that does nothing but call structure.WiggleAll(2) a hundred times. It crashes the ED puzzle every single time after several wiggles (much less than a hundred, but the number varies). It does not crash the mini freestyle or symmetry puzzle. When I was running a recipe that called do_global_wiggle_all(8) only 4-6 times, it did not crash. When I bumped the number of calls up to 100, it crashed after a few. The method of wiggling to stability that was suggested by jflat is not available to me in this puzzle and will presumably not be in other similar puzzles.

View options: Show exposeds, Show bonds (sheet), use relative score coloring, Fade GUI, Rainbow, Cartoon, Don't Show (Fast), Dark background.

Looping WiggleAll(2) 100 times on TR663 crashed. Log file the same, attached.
Same looping script on Viral Protein did not crash.
Same looping script on Spider Toxin did not crash, even when I bumped the number of loops up to 10000.

There is some resource that's being exceeded on the larger puzzles but not the smaller ones.

Thanks again for the feedback and the script Susume. Reproduced this issue and sent to the developers.

In the update with Wiggle Power, I am not getting crashes on low or medium power. On the ED it is still crashing on looped wiggles on high power, although it runs many more wiggles before crashing, and is giving different numbers at the end of the log files than before (2 different logs from this update attached).

I get the same behavior.

We're posting an update shortly that should address crashes during wiggle.
