I would really like to get the scientists view of energy or tension.
Tension or energy in a protein fold is bad. The built up tension
can cause the protein to explode in fold-it.
How to counter tension or energy in a fold?

red is bad :)

High energy = low score.
If some part is scored really bad it will jump out/explode when wiggle.
If you want avoid exploding you can try shake b4 wiggle (if side chain is clashing) and/or wiggle on lower CI (0.1 or even less).
