I'm getting a wiggle lock (segment that won't move) in 629, segment 24.
OS is Win 7 Starter, and I'm using the main client.
The wiggle lock shows up in both pieces of the dimer. That makes manipulating the structure very interesting.
is this is devprev or in main?
I'm having this problem (segment 24) using main. It has severely restricted any sort of creativity. Because of it I've chosen a solution where that segment doesn't have to move very much or far. Accordingly, it will probably not score very well.
Has the most recent update to devprev help with the problem?

No. The problem of recipes getting stuck on wiggle hasn't been fixed. The fix does allow us to stop recipes without closing the client.
yes segment 24 moves in devprev,
it moves in main with rebuild
Like gitwut, I am using main.
I will try some rebuilds and see what happens.
I did not have the wiggle lock as long as I had cutpoints. As soon as I closed the final cutpoint, segment 24 locked up and stopped being affected by wiggle. This is in main.
Saved a copy: "Segment 24 locked" in AnthropicDreams shares. Wiggle as is with band to space on segment 24 - you will see segment 24 doesn't move. Enable either or both of the other bands and see the attached segments move as expected.
I switched to devprev and the wiggle lock does not appear there on the same solution.

We were hoping the latest update to devprev would resolve this issue.
Thank you for your feedback, we'll mark this as resolved when this gets posted in the next update to main.
Please let us know if this creeps up again in devprev.
Any idea when main will be updated? I'm not very creative with symmetrical puzzles anyhow--and this isn't helping any. :(
Well, we want to make sure that everything else in DevPrev is working properly before we push it to main.
(Hopefully by the end of the week we'll move devprev to main if nobody reports any issues).
For now, just switch to devprev and you should be good!
(And you can help us catch any nasty bugs before they go to main! :-)
I need to really conserve my bandwidth usage at the moment, so will not be switching to devprev, and am disappointed that only 1 of the three WXCXW puzzles so far has been nice to play.
I can confirm that devprev at least cleared my segment 24 issue with puzzle 629. I tested it on a reset puzzle and my solo. The solo is progressing now--hope it's not too little too late.
my wiggle function is locking up. scripts are getting stuck when they try to wiggle. wiggle starts, but won't stop
