Description: This is the original model given to us by CASP for the same target used in Puzzle 584. They have told us that 3 regions are "showing significant deviation", so please focus on changing the structure of those regions (highlighted in note mode). We've been told that ~72% of this model matches the native, so you shouldn't change the rest of the protein much. Much more info in the comments.

More info about this puzzle:

If you looked at the recent Gallery Puzzles for the recently released natives:

you will have noticed that the native structures are not very different from the starting models.

This was pointed out in the feedback:

Because of this, for the already difficult refinement target TR679 we are giving you the starting RosettaServer model without modifications for a whole week (instead of a quick puzzle just before the deadline).

We realize that it might be difficult to get this model out of its local minimum, since it has already been minimized by Rosetta.
We hope that if you focus on improving those 3 regions first (residues 25-45, 146-156, 187-197), rather than trying to reach the highest score with the starting topology, you'll eventually be able to reach higher scores by getting closer to the native.

We tried to find a non-Rosetta server model that was close enough to this starting model, but they were all over 2.8 Angtroms away from it!

We have to post both this puzzle and Puzzle 584 at the same time so that we have enough time to send your solutions to the WeFold project.

We posted the starting model in the Alignment Tool so you can use cutpoints and partial threading.
