I have renamed this thread to address the issue brought up in the first two comments.

I'll bring your requests up at the next Foldit meeting, but until then:

If you see a little Foldit Ribbon icon next to a Foldit username, that person is either a Foldit Developer or a Scientist in David Baker's Lab. Nobody without this ribbon has any special powers on the Foldit website.

My name is Firas Khatib, you can click on the "My Homepage" link in my profile to read my CV: http://fold.it/portal/user/8819

Who are the devs?

Yes. It would be nice to know who all the dev's are and what they do. One risk is that the dev's will get bombed with e-mails instead of folks first e-mailing each other or posting their questions to Group Chat, Global Chat, Feedbacks, or the Forums. I often see a little Foldit ribbon next to the name of a particular user. I think this means the user is a dev. There also seem to be certain users entrusted with special powers on the site. Perhaps it would be good to have special symbols by their names too.

I updated my first post to address your questions.

Hopefully we can get all the Foldit devs to post here for now (until we expand/update) the credits page.

I think you'll be surprised to find out how few active Foldit devs there are, but at least that will explain why there are so many unresolved feedbacks!
