Adding a marker to the band length slider would make for an easier-to-use band-length slider.

Players often want to increase or decrease the distance between to protein sections by, say, 10%, however, this would require knowing the current distance between the segments. So players, create a band, then open the adjust-band-length window. Now, the window is directly on top of the band, making it difficult to see if their settings are close to what they want. Even if the window was movable, players have to slide the slider around and watch the arrows on the band flip in order to find the rest position of the band.

Add a marker to the slider to indicate the "rest position," or "relax point" -- whatever we want to call it.
