I'm running OpenSUSe 11.4
libGLU.so.1 is installed in the /usr/lib64 directory. But when I try to run Foldit (./Foldit) I get the error: Foldit Error: The game has previously not started up correctly.
If this problem persists, please install the latest version.
Foldit Error: Could not load library: libGLU.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Where does it look for the file? I tried copying it to the Foldit directory - still didn't work.

32bit

Foldit is 32bit and need all 32bit libraries to work.
I have 64bit Suse linux and installed 32bit support - problem solved.

different linux problem, but my post doesn't show up

I have a different problem which I posted about, but my post doesn't seem to show up in the forum! Luckily, I saved the url.
fold.it/portal/node/990666

When posting, there are several choices for which subforum the post should go into, but I don't see links to those subforums. ?!

Which choice will allow posts to show up in the regular forum?

I'm using the chrome browser on 64-bit debian
