Running Ubuntu 11.04 and Chromium 15.0.871.0 (Developer Build 99583 Linux)
Have tried a number of times to click image and other links posted to chats, but nothing happens.
Please help :)

Thanks Ayelis :) I think in this case it's the clickable links that are the problem as well as my linux/chromium combo. I don't think they like each other much. More and more folks are turning to linux distro's however, so it may be a good bug to fix :)
Only screen shoots are clickable in game. Rest of links you need to retype. Thats why we use bitly and another shorts.
Ah, Rav3n, he's saying in Ubuntu, using Chromium, the links aren't clickable. So, a bug having to do with the default browser selection in Ubuntu?
Opps. Win7 user there. Linuxes always have some issues :/
Maybe get ffox and try it?
Hi Rav3n :)
Have Firefox and tried it as well, and it's just a no-go :( I'm no computer scientist, so I have no idea if the bug is with the Ubuntu/Chromium/Firefox combo, or on the game side. I've even tried copy and paste for the links, but that function doesn't work either, and even if it did the chat window is too small to see the entire link. I am disappointed that I can't see other folks' progress when they link it. Is there a way to do that directly here on the website?
Thanks :)

This is not a bug. I am turning this into a "suggestion", so the game developers might add this feature, should it merit following up.
In the meantime, we can see entire links that are clickable, using any IRC client. The address for FoldIt chat is 128.95.1.227.
Thanks Boots! I appreciate your help with this :)

If a link is posted in chat by hand, it will not be "hyperlinked", or clickable. Links posted with the 'screenshot tool' are clickable. It cuts down on the amount of spam, I'm sure. Also, it's easier to program the link tool for links you know don't have spaces or special characters in them. Is this 'working as intended'? Hard to say. It would be nice to be able to click Bit.ly links instead of having to type them in. But they're short, I guess... :(
