Try "disable network

Try "disable network timeouts" and wait for all updates ends.

Try

clicking proxy twice, sometimes it helps show all options.

Same problem

Windows 7 version has no disable timeout option, but keeps failing to login. It also appears that it can't connect to the server for updates...

Hello!

Our devs had two suggestions as to why this may happen, see if one of these helps:
Two reasons why this might happen are:
1. You have an old version of the software with an old SSL cert.
Suggestion #1: download a new client

2. Your system clock is off (and therefore the OS thinks the SSL cert is expired).
Suggestion #2: adjust your system clock :)

Thanks for bouncing an old thread on the issue vs. starting a new one!
