Try
%cd ~/Foldit
%./Foldit

This didn't work for me. Nothing happens when I double click the executable.

From Terminal, I get Command not found, even though I have verified that the executable is in the path.

Ok for those who don't know where the wiki is:
http://foldit.wikia.com/wiki/FoldIt_Wiki

Mind you, I tried it, and I find that my linux installer still doesn't work, and the script doesn't work either. For some reason, I can't run the linux executable "foldit". Weird. I've had to resort to downloading the windows version and running it with wine. I'm using Linux Mint 11.

You need type "./foldit" or "./Foldit" (w/o quotes) in foldit directory.
