Look at the sequence very carefully and you'll get the joke.

We didn't post the puzzle at the time (mostly because it's 387 residues) but we immediately noticed that this was not a real sequence and that the CASP9 organizers were having some fun.

We thought it would be really cool, however, to fold this sequence up into a cool shape (like a smiley face or something) but obviously none of us had time to do this during CASP.

Since the native for this one will never be released, there isn't really a deadline so we thought we would give the sequence to you (to play around with) and if there are some fun shapes & creations that you come up with, we can send them to the CASP organizers and they might present them at the CASP meeting in December.

We don't want to make this a formal puzzle since this isn't as much about getting the highest score, but more about who can design a cool looking model, so we are making it a Contest that you are free to join (also it's 387 residues and we don't want to scare off all the new Foldit players!)

By the way, if it was too hard to read, this is the sequence:

You don't need to score higher than other players...

We will make sure to look at the top scoring solution for each individual player, so make sure that your favorite shape is the highest scoring model you create. This way you don't need to worry about other players scores.

This contest will be up for 1 month, so feel free to post screenshots here of any cool shapes you want to share with everyone!
