Hello - I have just been talking to Admin in Global Chat. I was instructed to leave something in "Feedback" and I asked where that was. It turns out that I couldn't find it because I do not have those icons on the main foldit site when I open it in Internet Explorer.

When I opened the foldit site in Mozilla Firefox, I had the icons but the top "welcome champuli1, my page, my group" etc. icons were missing. Just now, though, when I opened Firefox to gain access to the feedback icon, that information showed up - the page was complete.

In looking back at that page (Firefox), it doesn't even show that I was signed in but I was, in fact, signed in at the time I took the screen shot.

In Explorer, however, I have never had the bar with the icons "blog, groups, players," etc. on it and still do not have it. I had never even seen it until I checked it in Firefox. I am using Internet Explorer - Version 8. Foldit works in that version because at least two players in global said they were using that version and the icons were showing up just fine.

Admin asked me to send you screen shots of both versions. I am sending the Firefox version even though it seems to be working now. The Explorer version is still not working and has never worked.

Thanks.

Dear Foldit Gods and Goddesses -

It seems that I now have another bug to report. I have tried to post attachments using JPEGs and PNGs. On both posts (the first was JPEG, the second was PNG), it appeared that the attachments had been accepted.

When I saw that they had not made it into the original post, I tried again and it said that only PNGs were acceptable so I changed the files to PNGs in the second post.

Now I see that those didn't show up either.

Any thoughts?

I feel like I am in the FoldIt Twilight Zone.

Judecca has once again saved the day. He has inserted the screen shots into the second post.

On the Explorer screen shot, you have to click on it to get the whole shot and that shows the absence of the icons.

NOW, I find that there are two little tiny orange dots in the white portion directly below the green bar that allow me to click on icons that I can't see. They show up in the screen shot.

Thanks, jude, for all your help!
