Are you planning to implement disulfide bonds into foldit (in the near future)?
I have read that they are not calculated, but I do not know if they will be.
Assigning to a biochemist.
I was just talking with Seth about this, and they are calculated, and he was thinking of adding them to the display along with hydrogen bonds. I probably shouldn't promise anything since I'm not the one doing it, but look for them in one of the next updates.

Disulfide bonds are calculated. In the current score setup, the bonds themselves don't give any extra points, but two atoms that are disulfide bonded aren't considered to be clashing if they are close to each other.
We do have an implementation of them showing up along with the hydrogen bonds, so that should go out in the near future.

The update was posted, so marking as resolved.
You can see disulfide bonds if you turn on the "Show bonds (sidechain)" view option. They look like greenish hydrogen bonds.
Are you sure this is implemented?
Because I never saw one of them so far, neither I can find any dbond.png file in the graphics folders.
In puzzle 144 there are 3 pairs of Cysteine who possibly form disulfide bonds but I can't see anything.
Is there anyone out there who has actually seen a disulfide bond in Foldit?
Madde, can you see them now?
Yes, I can! :)
hooray!
...and it only took 29 months!
I'm going to point to this thread from now on when new players ask for their suggestions to be implemented ASAP ;-)
At least this is the answer I get whenever I ask, we don't see them, but they are still factors in the calculations.
