Ctrl-B as well as other user actions causes foldit to hang. It has happened numerous times since the release and never before the release.
Locking/Unlocking also causes temporary and permanent freezings on my computer.
OS: WinXP Pro SP3
the update that was pulled last night and reverted is acting like it went back one release to far so that it introduced the problem that was fixed around Thanksgiving. Playing for about 10 minutes and doing about anything will make the cursor go into spinning forever and a force quit is needed to stop it.
whiggle, lock and even a shake can freeze the program after only a few minutes.

The update has been sent out now. This should address all the crashes and freezes.

Marking as Resolved.
The update won't download "Bad file hash" error message
I think the update not downloading is a separate issue.
I guess if the update can't be installed, no one knows if it's "Resolved".
I don't think anything is resolved until it's tested by the users that reported the problem.
I downloaded the release and it seems solid
faster too!

Program not responding
Could you specify what you did just before it stopped responding? Were you able to repeat the problem after restarting? And what operating system are you using?

Closing this, it is a 2008 case
Not only Ctrl-B causes hang, but stopping global wiggle does it as well.
