Group status from moderated to open

This problem has been reported by me on a previous occasion. Group status goes from Request membership to Join after some kind of work has been done on the homepage. Earlier today I noticed the player lists - solo and evolver - were empty for a short period of time and maybe it has got something to do with that? I have no idea of how things are connected to each other on the page though.

I don't appreciate this problem at all, because VC is supposed to be moderated only, so I hope you can do something about it soon. It was by a chance that I popped by the group page anyway, so the status could have been open for a longer time, inviting people to join, when we don't wish that at the moment.

Thank you in advance.

No, this is unrelated. That was probably the cache table refreshing.

Thank you for reporting the issue. It is urgent, and I will try to fix it on Monday.

Hi Nina. I wasn't able to reproduce this issue. I'll leave this thread here in case other people in other groups get this issue. Do you think it's something to do with your browser?

As a workaround, you can always ensure that your group's policy is set to moderated when you edit the settings.

There has been no data on this for a good time now, so I am closing it.
