My name is Libuše, I’m a doctoral candidate of cultural anthropology and a master student of computer science at LMU Munich. In my doctoral research I study new forms of human-computer collaborations in citizen science projects and how they affect our everyday lives.
So far, I’ve talked to participants of the citizen science project Stall Catchers, which some of you might also know, as well as to some of Foldit’s designers and developers.
To extend my perspective on Foldit, it would be highly interesting to now get a chance to talk to you Foldit players and find out what you think about working together with and alongside algorithms. My goal is to gain a better understanding of your perspective on these citizen science projects and your contribution to them.
If you’re interested in participating, please reach out to me so we can schedule a call which will take as long as you want to invest time from 10 minutes to about an hour.
Alternatively, you could also participate in written form.
You can reach me via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
I would appreciate your help and look forward to hearing from you!
