I'm interested in writing advanced v2 scripts. Is there a specific group for this?
Coders are scattered among many different Groups,
and it is good to have a few coders in each Group.
One thing you can do is try many Recipes, and
when you find one you'd like to customize, print
its code and make your changes. This will get you
familiar with how Foldit Recipes are coded. If you
need ideas for changes to make to certain Recipes,
you can e-mail me. I have more ideas than I have
time to code.
If you have some favorite Recipes, you could track
down their authors and see which Groups they are in.
Many authors share Recipes with their Groups before
making them Public, so there are many Group-only
Even if you don't want to code, many authors welcome
feedback about their Recipes. If you have ideas for
improving a Recipe, e-mail its author(s) about them.
They might incorporate your ideas in their next version
of the Recipe.
