New puzzle series: Poly-proline helix

We're introducing a new series of Foldit puzzles, based on a special type of protein structure called a poly-proline helix. We're challenging Foldit players to design new proteins that incorporate this special helix!

why such a long PP? can U

why such a long PP? can U perhaps give a little background on these? I may be wrong (probably am) but I thought most PP11 helices are shorter than 7 segs.

I doubt we can help science if the scientists do not help us.

I say that in the best possible taste of course (for those that remember Kenny Everet)

Polyproline residues can

Polyproline residues can range from 3-13 residues in length. Here is a paper about their structure and function in proteins.
