The system of calculating scores for players and categories doesn't give room to favour puzzles against others. Yet, some puzzles are more demanding and we are still limited to a 100 pts maximum score.
There is a risk that some players avoid to invest in demanding puzzles (like ED).
In the past, there were some puzzles wiyh 150 pts value, but this has been discarded, probably because it didn't fit with the overall score system (taking the best x score out of y puzzle scores).
A way to favour some puzzles could be to count their score twice.
Example of player's scores:
-Puzzle 1: 100 pts
-Puzzle 2: 100 pts
-Puzzle 3: 100 pts
-Puzzle 4: 80 pts
-Puzzle 5: 90 pts
-Puzzle 6: 100 pts
-Puzzle 7: 100 pts
-Puzzle 8: 100 pts
-Puzzle 9a (favoured): 100 pts
-Puzzle 9b (favoured): 100 pts
-Puzzle 10 10 pts
Global score (best 8), current:790 pts
Global score (best 8), proposed:800 pts
