The promised devprev update from last week never appeared. Main has not been updated either. The authorities have been notified, but are thinking this lack of updates might apply to Windows only.
Please let us know your build id.
20190604-b55d4614bb-osx_x86 still shows game_dynamic in the main Mac status window at the top of my mac screen (the window that shows the menus for selected active applications, status of running options like bluetooth, wireless, the calendar,etc). Each active Puzzle window itself shows Foldit, puzzle name and track name at top. This has not changed for some time. I think that the confusion was due to game_dynamic being fixed in the application "title bar" window but not for the application name that appears in the main system window.

Both devprev and main did update on my Mac this week.
sort of begs the question - did the devprev version 'cure' the issue? If so - why not when rolled out. If not - then we can only assume those running devprev did not advise.
That's weird, the "game_dynamic" issue is definitely fixed for me, on machines running macOS 10.12 and 10.14.
The fix involved changing the metadata for the macOS app, rather than the Foldit source code itself. I wonder if Foldit is unable to update its own metadata in an app that's already installed? Can you try downloading a fresh install of Foldit, to see if that's any different?
running 10.13.16 here - not fixed. My comments above stand - was this fixed in devprev?
regarding fresh install - for me this requires transferring my all macro file. This now an issue I cannot fix - like running devprev (something I always did to try to help)
So no - I cannot do that. Perhaps U guys will fix this place such that I can? :)
