Scientists have discovered a new group of non-protein molecules that fold into stable, symmetric shapes in a similar manner to proteins: Complex molecules emerge without evolution or design

It's interesting that the molecule contains domains similar

to amino acids:

Orange is the tyrosine like domain

Blue is the tryptophan/nucleic acid like domain

Green is asparagine like domain
