Hi,
since last update from Dec.7 2018 I'm not able to load any puzzles anymore !!!!!!!

Try reinstalling....

That's a really weird error, seems like there's a problem with decrypting the game files.

From the log, it looks like you're on Windows, so my comments reflect that. You can also use the same general steps on other platforms, but some of the details will be different.

I'd suggest downloading the installer again from the fold.it home page. Start it up, and install to a different location. So if you current Foldit is in c:\foldit, make the new one c:\foldit2 (for example).

After installing, you'll problem want to copy the all.macro cookbook file from c:\foldit to c:\foldit2 using Windows Explorer or the tool of your choice. Copying options.txt, theme.txt, and hotkeys.txt may also save time. Copying the 0000nnnnnn.ir_user file (where nnnnnn is your numeric user id) saves another step.

You'll have a new desktop icon, a shortcut to c:\foldit2\foldit.exe. Sometimes the new icons can get lost, so you can also go to c:\foldit2 and double-click foldit.exe to get started. If you do find the new icon, renaming it may help. Single-click the icon and hit F2. This highlights the name, allowing you to put in "foldit2" or the equivalent.

Once you start the new Foldit client, it should update to the latest "main" version of the game (unless you have "devprev" in options.txt). After that, Foldit will restart and you should be back to normal.

As mentioned elsewhere, I do a new installation once in a while. A reinstall eliminates a lot of old files from previous puzzles, reducing clutter and maybe speeding things up a little. It may also help reduce crashes and other problems, although I still get my share of crashes.
