I am looking to incorporate Fold it in the classroom however our school issues only chromebooks to all the students. are there any plans or current progress to bringing the program to Chrome OS?

Hi there!

Currently we don't have anyone actively working on this - the reality is we're a very small team maintaining three platforms, and as such right now I am not aware of current plans to bring Foldit to other platforms at this time. We appreciate the ongoing interest in new platforms and when resources open up, it definitely merits further investigation.

I understand how frustrating this is (I own a chromebook and would love to "Foldit on the go" while I'm traveling or hanging in a coffee shop with my chromebook) and wish we had a better answer today for you.

Chrome OS

The latest info I found Chrome OS has a 0.7% market share for desktops and laptops. Players with iPads and Android tablets would probably get foldit before Chrome OS.
