issue with scores updating after recent outages

There was a major foldit server outage starting 29 August, and another shorter outage on 2 September.

After these outages, it seems like scores are not updating between clients. For example, I have a high score on 1133 that is not showing up in a different client, even after almost 24 hours. The client shows me as solo rank 60 when I'm actually solo rank 1 on 1133 (at the moment).

Even sharing a solution does not fix this problem, so a client will remain unaware of the current score and rank until I open a shared solution.

Restarting the client does not seem to help. The restarted client still sees a stale score. The puzzle menu in the client (ctrl+p) also has outdated information, and "Refresh List" does not help.

The foldit web site does have the current information, for example the puzzle page for 1133 shows my score and rank correctly.

This situation is a bit confusing when checking one's own scores. It's also likely to cause consternation among competitors if it persists as the next puzzle closes.
