Helix abuse on De Novo

It has no purpose to post any more De Novo puzzles as long as there is no change in the scoring of helixes.
On 1105 my regular try only got to about 8300. Then I read the comments some people made about just using helixes on that puzzle. I tried that and within 9 hours I was top 10.
Helixes should not be preferred that much. Only if the prediction say it must be helixes then there is no problem. Else there should be a penalty of about 8 pts for each segment part of a helix, maybe with the exception for the number of segments plus a small number that were predicted to be helix.
