Dear Foldit Community

We are a research group at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, studying the mobilization of crowds and citizens in science (http://citizenscience.blogg.gu.se/).

We are investigating the role of scripts in playing Foldit.
Please visit http://scientometrics.flov.gu.se/survey/index.php/786626/lang-en to take part in an online survey related to this topic.
It will take about 15 minutes to complete it, and there is a chance to enter a prize draw to win 2 $100 Amazon vouchers at the end.

If you would like to participate in the prize draw to win one of Amazon vouchers, you will be asked for your email address. The survey has been designed to keep your participation completely anonymous - so, even if you give us your email address for the prize-draw, the details will be stored separately from your survey-response.
The results of this survey will be published later in the year, and will be shared widely with the scholarly community. All responses will be treated in the strictest confidence, and will be anonymous in the analysis.

If you have any queries or comments about the project or the survey, please contact me at marisa.ponti at ituniv.se.

Thank you for taking the time to be involved, your contribution is very much appreciated.

Marisa

Survey on the use of scripts

Dear Foldit Community.

we closed the survey yesterday. We thank those of you who took the time to respond and soon two randomly chosen participants will receive their $100 Amazon (or Barnes & Nobles) vouchers.

The results will be used in combination with the results from other data collection methods and we will share the articles where we present such results.

Marisa
