We messed up the All-Hands puzzle yet again!
We realize that this is the second All-Hands puzzle that we have had to suspend in a week.
We are working very hard to make sure we don't strike out for a third time and hope to have a fully functional All-Hands up later tonight.
Again, we are very sorry for these mistakes and we hope that the new All-Hands will be worth it!
Thank you for your patience!
We have introduced a certain degree of Facebook support across Foldit. If you are a new user, you can simply click the Facebook Connect button instead of registering directly. If you are an existing user, visit your page and click on Facebook Settings to connect your Facebook and Foldit accounts.
Once you have got connected, you will be able to log in by just clicking the Facebook Connect button. In addition, you will be able to share Foldit news items and blog entries on Facebook, post your achievements to your Feed or Wall, and invite your Facebook friends to play Foldit. Your Facebook friends who also use Foldit will show up in a block like your current Buddies, and your profile picture can be pulled from Facebook automatically.
So if you use Facebook, try the features out and get your friends to play Foldit as well. Become a fan. It's just become much easier to spread the word about Foldit if you enjoy it.
As usual, please submit feedback (in the tracker)!(Thu, 07/16/2009 - 07:50 | 3 comments)
The recent Developer Preview update has now been posted for everyone.(Sat, 07/11/2009 - 17:40 | 0 comments)
Short Developer Preview
We've posted a Developer Preview update with some small modifications to the tool behavior on some puzzles. The changes should not be very noticeable when using the tools, but will hopefully lead to more useful solution structures. There's a new Developer Preview puzzle specially for this, called "BETA Tools Mod" to try them out on.
As usual, if you'd like to try them out, the FAQ explains how to access the preview, and please report any feedback as Developer Preview.(Fri, 07/10/2009 - 02:25 | 0 comments)
