"Players with Pictures" and "Top Soloists" sections scoring incorrect

I was perusing the "Players with Pictures" section of this site, because it's good to be able to place a picture with a name.

Imagine my surprise to see inactive (and even deceased!) players in the list:

karstenw - rank 119, global score 100 - inactive since 2015.
wisky - rank 122 - global score 99 - inactive since 2020.
auntdeen - rank 124 - global score 97 - Do we even need to go there?
madde - rank 129 - global score 93 - inactive since 2018.

And this was only part of one page! Who knows how many more are incorrect?

These players also appear with these ranks on the "Top Soloists" pages. WTF have the Ferrets been smoking?

The Ferrets are totally out of their minds.

Now the "Group" page player rankings are hosed. Contenders shows four players with points, when none of these teammates of mine have played in years.

Maybe this will all be fixed with the new website? I sure hope the new site gets implemented before this one implodes.

There seems to be a 'falloff' function that gradually removes your points when you no longer play. For players with very large numbers of points it can take a while before they all 'evaporate'. Your points were not removed immediately either, but gradually faded over the years you were absent. I can imagine this is done out of respect for the players' contribution.

I think pages like Top Soloists & Top Evolvers: https://fold.it/portal/players/s_all https://fold.it/portal/players/e_all only consider your last 3-4 months of scores. This means that if you stop playing, your totals on these lists will gradually drop, eventually reaching zero after 3-4 months.

I think that only Soloist Hall of Fame:
uses all your scores since you started
playing. If you stop playing for a while,
your scores on this list should never

I wish there were a page called Evolver Hall
of Fame (similar to the Soloist Hall of Fame)
that uses all your evolver scores since you
started playing to find its totals.

Jeff101 is correct: our soloist points only consider those earned in the last four months.

Once you've been gone over four months, your soloist score drops to zero. None of the players I listed (and several more that I've since discovered) have played in two or more years.

And this problem is not consistent. Quite a few of the players at ranks 100-150 legitimately own those points for recent play.
