On the diversication puzzle Quake takes a very long time when running in the background. Normally any Foldit instance running in the background takes about 30% of my processor capacity. However when running Quake in the background the used processor time for that foldit process is about ZERO. And quake takes forever. Windows 7 64 bit, quad core

Tx, this works. Left me wondering why this is not default.
Try turning on "update_while_minimized" in your options.txt
