| Description: | This is part two of the small symmetric dimer design puzzle that uses a known structure as a starting point. We're interested to see what sort of designs you can come up with that respect the dimer symmetry, and fold around a central beta sheet. For the previous WXCXW puzzle we gave you an extended 20 residue chain at the C-terminus. We’ve moved that chain to the N terminus for this puzzle, which should allow for very different sorts of designs. Remember, a symmetric protein relies not only on how well folded each part is, but also on how well they interface together! |
