| Description: | This is a small (50 residue) symmetric dimer design puzzle. We saw some very interesting structures in the smaller 20 and 30 residue freestyles. Using 50 residues puts this in the realm of a full-scale protein domain, and docking large secondary structure motifs becomes more viable. Remember, a symmetric protein relies not only on how well folded each part is, but also on how well they interface together. |
