I'm not sure if any of the other top scorers on puzzle #571 are seeing this, but I am finding that saturating this helix with aromatics is producing the highest scores.
I doubt highly that a real-life helix could contain so many tryptophans, tyrosines, and phenylalanines, yet remain a stable structure. A sheet, perhaps, but not a helix.
We've seen this scoring "bug", before. Is it going to be helpful to give the research lab a designed protein that may unwind before it does any good?
sorry I vote down by mistake

We have tried to resolve this issue and have reposted this puzzle with what we hope is the fix.
Please try it out in devprev and let us know if the problem is still there!
the problem seems less pregnant even if my best have 2 TRYP.
As Mark- noticed, the score make leaps. This seems to be leaps of the IE score.
the problem is always here

Thank you marie_s, we'll look into why that solution is still scoring well (as well as the score leaps).
Thanks to everyone that beta-tested this puzzle for us!
I see I am late to the party, but I ran a GAB mutate script until I hit 10324 pts, and it had chosen all hydrophobes: WAMWWWYFWW.
after many hours of scripts and some manual trying my best have not good scores and many tryps

I find the game very slow and use much memory than usual

With the new Residue IE filter, the abundance of aromatics is ended. But did we go too far? I haven't seen one aromatic in any mutated structure.
Closing this feedback as resolved.
