Do bands in Foldit behave like simple springs?
Do they obey Hooke's Law with
force F=-k(x-xo) and potential energy PE=(1/2)k(x-xo)^2 ?
Is k proportional to the Strength of the band ?
Is x the present Length of the band ?
Is xo the GoalLength of the band?
Just curious.

No they don't. Allways equal force. A while ago I posted feedback requesting real rubber bands.
