Put little stripes on each band, closely-spaced for a strong band, and widely-spaced for a weak band.
The stripes could be circles, the outlines of cross sections of the band.

the strength of a band is currently indicated by its thickness - the ends remain the same and the band itself varies in thickness, very strong bands ie strength ten or more also become brighter - imo this indicates band strength quite well and does not add clutter to the display, and makes bands very visible in contrast to hydrogen and other bonds, which is useful.
So I'm voting this down.
