maybe i am an idiot, but i dont believe so, i have been toying with the tutorial level 6-2 for a little bit now, the instructions are easy, they want you to use design mode to change out some sidechains into large hydrophobics. well, i tried for a long time, and the best score i could get was a 9601, where the required score is a 9608, i watched the youtube video where a person does it, and they start out with a higher score, use a lower scoring comibination, and get more than the required 9608. i dunno if this is condsidered a bug or what, i think the regular starting score got adjusted, and it got adjusted a few points too low.
Thank God, I thought I was going insane. I was literally about to throw my computer out the window when the highest score was only 9601. Do you know when it'll be fixed, i'm supposed to finish all these tutorials for a bio class.

Q: Where can I find the Foldit data files?
A: The data files are in different places depending on your OS:on Windows:
if you installed after 8/23/2011, they will be in your installation directory (the default is C:\Program Files\Foldit\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\Foldit\)
if you installed prior to 8/23/2011:
on Windows XP at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Foldit\
on Windows 7 and Vista at C:\ProgramData\Foldit\
on a Mac, Ctrl-click on the app and choose "Show Package Contents, then go to Contents/Resources

brow42, i am a little bit confused by your statement, i see the Foldit data files, what am i supposed to do to them? i dont see the instructions you are reffering to, just a faq about where the data files are.
my bad, i see it now, the devprev part, i swear i read over it and didnt even see that, i was really tired this morning, went to a concert last night.
update just camed and it is fixed! time to finish this tutorial!
