I find it hard to move the protein where I want it to go. It would be nice if you could pick a spot and make it a hinge or a bent point, so the whole proteign dosen't move. You can sortof use rubber bands, but it is a pain and dosen't make it just wwing or bend 1 section. What do you think?

Can you do that by freezing a section of the protein and using that point as a hinge?

We need ability do drag frozen parts by hand like wiggle can.
We also need ability to lock segments in space.

There's a workaround that's possible with the existing tools:

1. Create a very short band at the hinge point.
2. Use a recipe/script to increase its strength to 10.

Because a band of strength 10 means "I want the piece to move to the specified location at all costs," the result is that the amino acid attached to such a band will be locked in place for all practical purposes. In fact, you could also use this trick if you want to direct a piece to an exact location without wiggling.

Addendum to "you could also use this trick if you want to direct a piece to an exact location without wiggling":

To do that, create a band that points into space, increase the band strength to 10, and then drag normally. Movement for the segment attached to the band will then be restricted to the area very close to the band.
