After the latest update, fold it doesn't start with this error message :

"Foldit Error: Could not load library: cmp-binary-b0481bfa7401b7cd81a213020ba0701c/game_library.so: undefined symbol: _ZN4game11application6novice9utilities9MakeChainC1Ev"

Fold it was working before on my system.

I am under Linux.

It occurs only with the usergroup : "beta" option. I installed it from scratch in another folder and it works.

It seems that the new version of the game_library.so is unreadable for some reason.

yes-- seems to be a linux client problem. wudoo and fcat have reported this same error. Under windows 7, i have had no problems.

Hello quick fix, just got get it going

go into Foldit directory

mv cmp-binary-b0481bfa7401b7cd81a213020ba0701c cmp-binary-b0481bfa7401b7cd81a213020ba0701c-backup
ln -sf cmp-binary-3075c977b3c7cf9a474d4ee0455971c8 cmp-binary-b0481bfa7401b7cd81a213020ba0701c

find latest created dir and one before update
