I run multiple clients on vista64 and vista32 on occasion without those troubles. Your screen shot looks like video driver problems to me. Have you got the latest patch for those?
Hey Tony! :) I'm not sure. Yeah it really could be anything, couldn't it. hmm. I've had minor problems with the previous one (foldit), but the issues with this one seem to be more exaggerated. I guess its time to play foldit on the big screen - time to give that try to hdmi !!!

Yep! I'll mark this as resolved.
I found the problem in my case: Too many puzzle files. I'm not sure if foldit somehow loads them all (since Aug 25 2010) but deleting all of them not created within 30 days allows me to open as many clients as I want without any problem.
