Some of our friends can type characters I can't see. It makes it hard to read when a character is missing. Alternatively translate to underlying character rather than blank.

Perhaps a simple check for the system's charset capabilities first? Then the available and necessary type chars can be loaded modularly

It was done to protect client form "chars of death" I discovered. It have to be that way. Closing.
