Foldit crashed with C++ run time error.
The window disappears but the process remains active using a lot of memory
Can be merge with "frequent crashed while folding" but I can not see recent replies.

Same thing happed to me.
But for me looks like client "hides" itself, I mean it is minimized (no program window) and nothing on taksbar. Eats memory but 0% cpu usage.
I`m using Process Explorer and when i "restore window" client is back and kicking on "choose puzzles" screen (intro, science, contest).
