Alignment guide fails to go away when using a default dark background

The alignment guide fails to go away, initially, if a dark background loaded as the default.
The user must first revert to the light background, clear the alignment guide ( SHIFT + S ), then revert.

Yep! I now see there are different work-arounds to it, but the bug stems from using the default dark background.

got it... thanks for clearing that up.
Until we get that fixed, clicking "Show Guide" in the View Options seems like the best work-around.

Can you be more specific about what you mean.
Are you talking about the Native Guide (in Puzzle 354, for example) or are you talking about the guide that you see when using the Alignment Tool (and you check one of the boxes on the left of the Alignment Tool)?
If you could post a screenshot that would be very useful!
