A more 'professional' option for a user interface

It would be helpful to have an option to turn off the visual 'fluff' on the UI.
The modal button that tells you you have loaded a file, just after you loaded a file.... it is unrequired for more experienced users, and that one which acts modally when you load a puzzle with a template....
The little messages that pop up at the cursor when you gain or loose points. When one runs a script these become a severe annoyance.
The ability to create a second window for the IRC and other information. This might not be of use to everyone, but if you run dual screens, it would clear up the clutter.
Put most of the functional tools and settings on one toolbar with an option to switch between a selection and the original method of interacting with the backbone. The clash behavior slider should be visible here as well. Add a single cancel button on the toolbar so that the tool icon or the cancel button can be used to stop an action. It is unergonomic to have to go chasing all over the UI for closely related functions.
A few buttons to which scripts can be assigned would be useful.
The load solution box needs a way to sort the solutions list by date, energy, and alphabet. It can be a difficult task to search a lot of solutions to a particular puzzle to find the one that you just saved...
It would also be helpful to tag solutions saved locally that are from other people's shares, and put you into the evolver class. If you modify someone elses solution and save it, it is tagged as yours, but still counts as an evolver. That can be really annoying if you don't notice it for a while....
