Hi
I find the GUI flashing on and off kind of annoying. Is there a way to turn this feature off? If not caould it be added.

And Foldit has crashed for the first time in ages while rotating the protein.

I've posted an update that add this option and adjusts the time until the fade begins.

Did I disadjust something?
My client doesn't fade the GUI anymore.
we had to revert the update due to other bugs that were caused.
we'll put this into BETA to test it more thoroughly to see what was going wrong!

Ah, okay!
It did some good to my slow PC.
Simple answer: Perhaps the fade should be a fade-in as well. There is a short delay before the GUI fades out. If you add the same delay (or a slightly longer one, I think) before bringing it back, it would give us time to move the mouse to where we want to go and keep rotating, expanding, or whatever.
