Crash/Hang when changing proxy settings

Foldit sometimes crashes or gets stuck when checking or unchecking the "Connect using proxy" box and clicking on "Quit" or "Play".
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Foldit
2. Check the box to use a proxy and enter any address with port (e.g. "localhost:8080")
3. Click "Quit" (crashes here with an unhandled exception)
4. Start Foldit
5. Uncheck the box to use a proxy
6. Click "Play" (hangs with 100% CPU usage) or "Quit" (crashes).
The bugs don't occur every time but fairly often. I am using Windows 7.

I forgot to mention that if Foldit fills in the address box automatically at step 2, you have to make sure that you at least click one time in the box or change the address.
