My tests on a mac OS system indicate that the global wiggle of selected segments (in Lua) matches a global wiggle with only those segments unfrozen (in GUI), but neither one matches a GUI local wiggle of those selected segments. I don't know how or why this produces a different result, but the local wiggle is usually better. Consequently I'd like to be able to include local wiggles in my Lua scripts. Can we get a Lua call for a local wiggle?

A local wiggle function, do_local_wiggle, has been added to the lua interface. This will go out in an update soon.
