Problems with database corruption.

For the second time in a couple weeks now, when I try to launch foldit, I get the message "Error during initialization: Your database appears to be corrupted. Please try reinstalling the application."
I've done two scans of the HDD now to make sure there is not a problem with the hardware, and it appears all is normal. I've never had this problem before, but both have happened since upgrading to Windows 7 Enterprise.
Also, once I try to launch foldit this way, and try to do anything else, I will get an error that explorer.exe has stopped working and needs to be restarted. This will continue until the machine is rebooted.
I assume this is likely just some problem with my machine, but wanted to throw it out there to see if anyone else was having this problem. I will be reimaging in a few weeks, so will live with it for now.
